The Future's Bright for TCS as CSR Initiatives Recognised

Town Centre Securities (TCS) and subsidiary company CitiPark, are celebrating after it’s Head of CSR, Charlotte-Daisy Leeming, has been named as a finalist in the prestigious British Property Federation (BPF) Futures Tomorrow’s Leaders Awards under the Community Engagement category.

The awards showcase the brightest future talent in the real estate industry and judges have recognised TCS and its subsidiary company CitiPark for its ever-increasing delivery of initiatives that support local, national and global charitable and community organisations.

Head of CSR, Charlotte-Daisy Leeming commented,

“We were recently honoured to be the chosen winners of the “Contributing to the Community” award at the BusinessDesk Yorkshire Business Master Awards and are thrilled that our partnerships and projects and have once again been acknowledged by our property sector peers.

We look forward to attending the event at the Houses of Parliament in London and continuing our delivery of unique concepts to support our core CSR values”.

Examples of the successful schemes and projects that Charlotte-Daisy and the team have implemented include partnerships with local schools and the recent “Pay for Parking in Plastic” campaign which encouraged customers at CitiPark’s Merrion Centre multi-storey car park in Leeds to pay for their parking with plastic bottles.

Charitable donations by TCS in 2017-18 amounted to £144,500 (£125,000 in 2016-17), £28,500 of which was raised through events, collections and competitions in the company’s single largest asset, the Merrion Centre in Leeds.
