Five New Tenants Secured At Manchester's Iconic Ducie House

Town Centre Securities PLC (TCS) is set to welcome a further five new tenants totalling more than 6,000 sq ft within the iconic Ducie House building in Manchester’s Piccadilly Basin.

This latest raft of new tenants will join a growing business community based in the Edwardian building following its extensive refurbishment.

Healthcare recruitment specialists, Leaders in Care have leased 3,768 sq ft of office space to accommodate their growth. The company works across a range of specialist sectors including adult healthcare, social work, mental health, senior and managerial appointments, as well as med-tech and biotech roles.

Boutique bowling business, Lane 7 Ltd, has completed on 765 sq ft to house their marketing and operations teams with North West investor and property developer Harlex completing on 508 sq ft.

The Self Space, a growing mental health therapy business, has taken 344 sq ft of accommodation at Ducie House. Founded in 2018 by Jodie Cariss and later joined by partner Chance Marshall, the business was launched to service the growing need for accessible, contemporary mental health support. The company has grown from start up to sites across the UK with a team of 45 registered therapists and support staff.

KOM, an original music agency for film, tv and advertising has leased 344 sq ft of space. The multi-award winning agency was founded by composer Philip Kay and experienced music producer Andy Oskwarek.

National recruitment agency based in Manchester, HTE Recruitment has taken 304 sq ft of office space to accommodate its growing team. The business has expanded over its 14 year history to become a multi-sector recruitment agency covering logistics, IT, sales, Digital, FMCG and Hospitality and Catering.

The 33,000 sq ft Ducie House office conversion is home to an eclectic mix of existing businesses from a variety of sectors including technology, marketing and fashion, which we are continuously adding to with the latest secured lettings.

Originally a petticoat factory, Ducie House has continually evolved, with famous Manchester bands including Simply Red, 808 State, ANS, Ask Developments and Ear to the Ground making appearances in the venue during its time as a hub for the city’s music scene in the 1990s.

A transformational refurbishment programme created a new, contemporary reception entrance; reconfigured suites, as well as flexible office space ranging from 147 sq ft to over 11,500 sq ft. In addition, first class facilities were introduced including cycle storage; formal meeting rooms and booths; balcony break out areas and shower facilities.
