TCS Strengthens Asset Management Team with Key Hires

We are pleased to announce two new hires to further expands its expertise within its increasing portfolio.

Joining this month (June), Hattie Ramsden will oversee the commercial office space across the company’s single largest, the Merrion Centre, and manage upcoming developments across the 1m sq ft mixed use scheme in Leeds.

Hattie joins TCS with a wealth of expertise and a varied property and investment background, having worked in both the industrial investment and private rented teams at JLL London.

As part of the national investment team, she worked as a senior surveyor and focused on the acquisition and disposal of multi and single let property across the UK.

Also starting this month is Sheffield Hallam University student Esme Briggs. Studying Human Geography, Esme has excelled in her property classes and wanted to gain professional experience in the industry during her placement year.

Esme has now joined the award-winning TCS and will be assisting the asset management team across its entire portfolio, gaining valuable experience.

Hattie and Esme will both be working alongside Associate Directors Helen Green and Alistair Smith.

“It has been an outstanding time of growth across the TCS portfolio, including us recently celebrating the successful completion of an initial 10 year £70m redevelopment project at the Merrion Centre, and the completion of Merrion House which is now home to over 2200 Leeds City Council staff. We are now working on our next ten-year plan for the centre, and look forward to it continuing to thrive with the expansion of the team.

“This past year has seen many exciting and varied developments for TCS, including the acquisition of Ducie House and approval for second-phase planning for Eider House in our 12.5 acre Piccadilly Basin site in Manchester. We look forward to announcing further developments in due course, and working with the additional team members as we continue to experience growth.

Hattie Ramsden commented on her appointment, saying: “I am very excited to be returning to the UK and joining the TCS asset management team. Originally from Scotland, Hattie studied at Edinburgh University before obtaining a master’s degree at Oxford Brooks University. After leaving University, she undertook a graduate scheme with the international property consultancy firm JLL, staying on in a permanent role and qualifying with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2011.
